← Back to Ask the YachtFor Immy, the AI concierge embedded in Immersive Yachts virtual tours. Last updated 5 August 2026.
This notice explains what happens to your data when you use Immy — by typing, by voice, or by browsing a virtual tour she is embedded in. It applies wherever Immy appears (asktheyacht.com and the individual tour pages on immersiveyachts.com).
In short: Immy only uses this yacht's real listing data to answer you — nothing is invented. Using her is entirely optional. If you don't want to be tracked or don't want to use voice, you can still browse and chat with her by typing. Nothing you tell her is used for anything other than answering you and, if you choose to share your contact details, connecting you with the broker.
Immersive Yachts, a trade name of Multivision 3D Visualisaties (sole proprietorship, Dutch Chamber of Commerce / KVK number 30142804), is the controller for the data described here. Registered address: Statensingel 2, 6217KD Maastricht, The Netherlands. For any privacy question or request, contact info@immersiveyachts.com.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| What you type or say to Immy | To generate her reply, decide which part of the tour or which photo to show, and detect buying interest so the broker can follow up. |
| Voice recordings (only if you use the microphone) | Converted to text so Immy can understand your question. The audio itself is not stored after transcription. |
| Immy's spoken replies (only if voice is on) | Generated as audio and played back to you. Not stored after playback. |
| Name, email, phone number | Only if you choose to share them (a form, or just saying them to Immy) — used to let the broker contact you. |
| IP address, device/browser type, referrer, pages and scenes viewed, questions asked | Analytics (to understand how the tour is used) and, for serious buying interest, included in the email notification sent to the broker. |
Immy also assigns a rough interest level (none/warm/hot) to a conversation, based on things like a question about price or a request to view, so the broker knows which conversations to prioritize. This does not result in any automated decision being made about you — it only flags a conversation for a human broker to read and decide how to respond, so it does not fall under GDPR's stricter rules for automated decision-making (Art. 22).
The following processors handle data on our behalf, only for the purposes above:
Anthropic, OpenAI and ElevenLabs are based in the United States. We rely on the data processing agreement each of them offers, built on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, to cover this kind of transfer. These agreements are available on request — contact us at the address above for a specific provider.
This site itself does not set any cookies. Matomo, our analytics tool, is configured with cookies switched off — it recognizes your visit without placing anything on your device.
Chat messages and voice recordings are processed to generate a response and are not stored in a database afterward. Server logs (which can include message content for troubleshooting) are retained per our hosting provider's standard log retention period. If you share contact details or show buying interest, that conversation is included in an email to the broker, who retains it according to their own records-retention practice.
Under GDPR, you can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, restrict its processing, or request a copy of it. Where we rely on legitimate interest as our basis (see above), you also have the right to object to that processing at any time. To exercise any of these, contact us at the address above. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Using Immy's voice feature requires your browser's microphone permission, which your browser will ask you to grant directly — we never access your microphone without that prompt. Declining it, or simply not using the microphone button, does not limit anything else Immy can help with by text.
